What you'll do
As a GNC Engineer, you will be a core contributor to the development of our spacecraft guidance, navigation, and control stack. You will design and implement algorithms, develop high-fidelity simulations, and support integration and testing with hardware to ensure reliable and autonomous satellite operations.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and test GNC algorithms for satellite rendezvous and proximity operations
- Develop high-fidelity 6-DoF dynamics simulation software for GNC analysis and validation
- Support integration of sensors and actuators into the satellite platform
- Contribute to monte carlo campaigns, hardware-in-the-loop tests, and system validation
- Collaborate with mission design, and software teams to ensure seamless integration of GNC into the satellite platform
What we look for
Minimum requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical or any related engineering discipline
- 1-3 years of experience in spacecraft GNC or related systems
- Experience with MATLAB, Simulink, C/C++, and Python
- Experience with GMAT, STK or other applicable astrodynamics tools
- Knowledge of orbital mechanics, rigid body dynamics, control systems, and estimation techniques
- Experience with sensors and actuators used in spacecraft navigation and control
- You thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments, adapt quickly, and enjoy solving hard problems
Preferred qualifications
- Prior work with high-fidelity simulation, hardware-in-the-loop testing, and monte carlo analysis
